Divinity,
Spells And Rituals

Greetings
to all, and I hope your'e all doing well. Today, I'd like to take
this time to speak with you about Divinity
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divinity, and then a bit
about spell craft, magick http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magick, magic
or witchcraft http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witchcraft, so stay
with me because I think your going to find this interesting, or I
hope you will anyway.
You
may or may not be aware of this fact but you have performed some type
of magick in your life whether your'e a Christian, Pagan, Muslim,
Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish or Atheist.
Yes,
believe it or not, at some point you've spoke a wish, thought a wish,
lit a candle, pulled a rabbit's foot out of your pocket or said a
prayer to a higher power, and that's considered magick because your
interacting with a spiritual force on some level with a purpose.
So,
in essence, a prayer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prayer is
nothing more then a
spell http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spell_(paranormal)#Varieties_of_magical_practice and
visa versa.
Some
folks just speak the prayer and others take a step further by going
to church, or actually setting up a little make shift altar for their
private communications to Divinity.
Prayers
to Divinity? Exactly what is Divinity? You may be asking, the answer
is as follows. Divinity is the collective presence of everything that
has ever been, is currently, and that will ever be both in the
mundane or physical world and in the spiritual realms.
Divinity
consists of every spiritual aspect known as God, Goddess, Angel,
Ancestors, Prophet, Spirits, and on and on. Basically, Divinity is
the collimation of all things known to humanity in the spiritual
sense.
I
think what confuses a lot of people is the strangeness of it all, and
the fear of not knowing what magick is really about and of course, we
hate that which we fear as the old rule of thumb goes.
Another
point we should make here is in that it matters what the intent of
the person or spell
caster http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magician_(paranormal) has
going on in their mind and heart at the time or concerning their
communications with Divinity. You see, it's not so much what your
asking for so much as it is why, and how your'e asking for it.
With
this in mind, it doesn't matter if your making a wish out in your
back yard, saying a prayer in church, or in the midst of a magical
rite of some kind. Another thing we might ponder is in that Divinity
or the spiritual realm will, or won't grant a prayer on its merit and
thus, if the request is evil or not good for the person and people
involved, then it won't be granted.
It's
also important to remember that prayers may or may not be granted
according to Divinities plan and judgment, and that's a fact. Other
things that could cause a prayer to both go unheard or unanswered at
times is in matters of mortality and other unavoidable natural
conditions having to do with the natural progression of nature.
Again,
sometimes prayers of this nature are heard and granted to which we
then call miracles; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miracles through
miraculous circumstances. So in essence, a prayer spoken in a church,
behind an altar or out on a camping trip basically is the same thing
be that prayer of a righteous or wicked nature.
Superstition,
Dogma, And Faith
Superstition, via this link of: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superstition
through dogma, via this link of: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogma is not only a
waste of time but can be down right dangerous in that superstition is
governed by fear, hate and dogma that further keeps one living in the
past without necessarily improving ones spiritual evolution
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiritual_evolution or over all life
circumstances.
In
other words, if you walk under a ladder, step on a crack, have a
black cat cross your path or break a mirror doesn't really mean that
your going to have seven years of bad luck. These superstitions
actually come out of old pantheistic or paganism belief
systems http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paganism and ancient folk
lore and not typically a prescribed holy church doctrine.
To
elaborate this point further, I've had all these things above occur
to me numerous times in my life and nothing ill fated has happened to
me. On the same note, if you don't give ten percent off the top of
your income which is known as “tithing” to the church, don't show
up every Sunday or go to confession every week doesn't mean that your
going to go to Hell or that God is angry with you.
Faith http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faith in that which is good and
beneficial is not only righteous in Godly
thought http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hasidic_thought but
abstract to that which is evil http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evil for
the spiritual person. When a person thinks out, speaks out and acts
out in a righteous and beneficial way then the grace of Heaven is
with you and so, you need not worry about dogma or superstition.
False
Prophets Proclaiming
Deeds In Divinity's / God's Name
However,
even the spiritual person must stand guard against the false
Prophets http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_prophets and the
twisted teachings they put forth to draw and destract you into darker
places. Today, false Prophets and their prophecies of are running
rampant throughout the world while snaring millions of the
unsuspecting.
Often
times, they will proclaim themselves as either the prophets of God or
the actual Son of God as Jesus and others stated would occur in the
latter days.
Many
of these deceivers will create the appearance of love and light while
practicing their deceptions by night and moreover, having an agenda
for destruction for all that will follow them. Again, many of these
self proclaimed prophets will incorporate and invoke dogma and
superstition into their make shift religious systems to invoke both
fear and respect by those less aware.
As
I've stated before, many will know that which is true and righteous
from that which is evil by practicing common sense and prudence in
what they know to be righteous thought, speech and actions from
unrighteous thinking, speaking and harmful actions.
These
self proclaimed priests will also claim to have a “spiritual hot
line” to God and perhaps, even use ritual rites or chants to
strengthen, or drive this point home to their followers. False
prophets and cults are dangerous gatherings indeed as the pray off of
a persons insecurities, weaknesses and need to feel needed and
accepted.
This
in itself will cause most intelligent people to over ride their
piratical and common sense http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_sense
thinking or typical mind set in some cases and the leader of
the cult knows this. Usually, everything that most cult leaders do
tends to geared to domination and sexual practices to which has
nothing to do with spiritually.
How
Do You Discern A False Doctrine?
Typically,
most sincere doctrines of faith are geared for good living and
fairness in dealing with others especially, when we recognize that
all ancient doctrines of faith were created as a blueprint for social
order and peace.
These
texts or oral traditions that have been passed down over the last six
to ten thousand years outline how we should treat each other, respect
one another and deal out fair justice to those that breach the laws
of that particular doctrine or faith system, be it a societal or
spiritual violations.
The
trouble with any kind of doctrine or
theology http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theology is in that
everyone adds a little bit to it as time goes on, good or bad. As a
result of this activity, leaves huge gray areas within for
interpretation and misinterpretation.
The
key word here is the interpretation of the reader and so, even this
can be considered a good or bad thing depending on where that person
is in life and how well they grasp the original meaning of the text
itself.
Most
textual content that are considered established doctrine teach good
and proper ways of living one's life however, and that can be seen in
most of these text, can be seen abuse of the human condition either
procreated by the writers of the original laws or by someone else in
time who bend the original meaning to their own liking through
translation or misinterpretation by design.
For
example, in a few obscure passages of the Bible it reads that “you
shall not suffer a witch to
live.”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orange_Catholic_Bible or
“Homosexuals should be stoned or
killed.”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_in_the_Hebrew_Bible yet,
Jesus was strongly opposed to harming another, and strongly opposed
to war itself. It's also notable to say that these passages were
written by other authors of the Bible before or after Jesus and not
from Jesus himself.
Yet,
some have taken these obscure statements out of the Bible and started
a full blown crusade http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crusade against
anyone who practices any other religious practice different from
their own, or carries out a similar crusade against anyone that fails
in living up to what they deem to be a correct lifestyle, or that
fails to match up to their own lifestyle.
Another
example can be found in Islam, in that if your not be attuned with
the prescribed Islamic way of worship then you are deemed a Infidel
or unbeliever in God that must be
killed: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infidel .
Again,
these are small passages here and there within this huge doctrine
that some have found solace in, practice, and have turned into
another crusade against the misunderstood or completely innocent.
These
passages are both a part of dogmatic behavior which gives birth to
intolerance simply because the text or passage was taken out of its
original context and meaning via other latter authors, whom more so
might have had personal issues with the examples cited above and
ultimately, or eventually bleed into the holy text over time.
Spell
Casters And Faith Systems
What
is a spell caster? A spell caster can be just about anyone whom
feels they have a connection to Divinity under whatever name through
an array of various belief systems. Some spell casters cast spells or
prayer castings for the public and some restrict their activities to
casting rituals to friends, family members or just for oneself.
Some
casters believe in casting spells for a fee and some don't, some
believe in casting for themselves and no other under extreme
emergency situation and so on. Spell casters and mystics alike are
just everyday plain folk with what they feel are spiritual gifts
given to them of God, or other depending on who your asking.
Like
any other average person, the Caster and Mystic are at different
places in their life and suffer the same fallibility’s or faults as
everyone else does as their lives unfold. Some Casters are very
attuned with Universal
principles http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_sacred_way and
some aren’t depending on their courses of study, religious up
bringing and magical training.
Most
people in the realm of spiritual pursuits are good hearted people
with families and some, like in every other area, or walk of life,
can be a little on the dark side. Again, it just depends on where
they are at in life and moreover, what they've experienced in life to
this point.
Some
magical people are into dogma and following the church as others tend
to shy away from dogma and structure of the
church http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catholic_Church .
Lastly, some like working with the public while sharing their views
and beliefs and some like to stay hidden or as secretive as they can.
Covens
of
witches http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wicca#Covens_and_solitary_Wiccans or
otherwise aren’t cults as much as they are just a bunch of folks
from various belief systems coming together under one roof to work on
a unified goal.
So
in short, you have a bunch of good friends meeting up on a particular
day or evening to catch up with the week's events and to work toward
the common goals such as healings or achieving world peace, Just like
Christian folks carry out in church meetings on Sunday.
Cults
And Covens
If
pagan covens can be deemed as cults, then so can other religious
groups including Christians as they all share similarities. Why is
this? Because everyone is coming together under a common belief
system whom other religious systems may construe as abnormal or
bizarre behavior in contrast to their own forms of acting out or
belief: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cult.
For
instance, drinking wine while pretending and or using/consecrating
the wine as symbolic in a church ritual or magickal ritual that it is
the blood of a man that died two thousand years ago, or eating a
piece of bread and while pretending/ symbolizing/consecrating it,
that it is the flesh of what some consider to be a long dead Demi
God, is weird to some especially is they don't understand the
symbolism of it all.
Further,
bowing down to, or prostrating oneself before a graven images and
or, in believing that the Priest / man can forgive another man his
sins, is viewed as medieval or being totally ridiculous to other
faith systems, or abstract to their belief system. Case cited,
Catholic Communion at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_of_Christ.
Please
look up Ritual, or ritualistic
magick http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ritual and then compare
the word and terms to mainstream Christianity via these
links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Church_of_Jesus_Christ_of_Latter-day_Saints#Comparisons_with_mainstream_Christianity.
Basically,
the church has accused others of heresy and blood sacrifice yet they
themselves are looked at as emulating cannibalism and worshiping
Idols to a greater degree and thus, these activities are considered
bizarre or strange to those whom are opposed to the act of
cannibalism or the symbolic emulation of such activity.
Better
yet, please read these link on ritualistic Catholicism and Orthodoxy
via this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglo-Catholicism or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ritualism to which all other
churches branch from.
The
church has also accused many of ritualistic Satanism http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devil#Satanism, or ritualistic
witchcraft yet, the church of “Satan” was actually an invention
of the Catholic church as well as was the black mass to which was
later turned into the Black Sabbath of the witches later on. If you
would like to read about this event in history please check out this
link of
: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LaVeyan_Satanism#The_Black_Mass.
The
Mother Church, Nazism, And Witch Hunts
We
hear much regarding what some in the Christian faith believe , or the
morals and values that are propagated by the mainstream Church
however, many are disenchanted and leave the church and it theology
or idealism when becoming privy to the history of the church and it's
activities between church and state. If you would like to read about
the interactions of the Church in Rome's activities please view this
link of: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alois_Hudal.
To
further reveal other activities of the movements of main stream
Christianity and their activities concerning the Witch hunts please
see this link of : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witch-hunt in
where forty to one-hundred innocent people were put to death for
simply disagreeing with the Church's ideology.
Christian
Fundamentalist Extremist & Terrorism. Again, it's important to
know not only how a religious system works, but the what history of
that system as well. As in any other mainstream religious system,
some will take it to the extreme as can be seen and or read about via
this link
of: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_extremist_terrorism.
Now,
I'm not citing these links as any attack against the church or
Christianity over all however, I just wanted to show contrast between
the church and those in whom it condemns.
Just
about every religious system has carried out deeds in the past that
it would like to forget about yet, I find it hypocritical to have a
spotted and colorful past such as this and still continue to damn
others for their beliefs in the present.
Moreover,
to perpetuate hard core extremism in its members through dogma or,
ambiguous doctrine that only breeds extremist idealism via the lack
of education concerning that particular doctrine. In short, by
allowing a person, persons or a group of persons to commit sins
against the actual teachings of Jesus The Christ without
intervention.
'Cherry
Picking' Through The Bible
You
know, this phrase is used by the church quite often however, this is
not so much picking out what serves a person so much as it is a
exercise in discernment between what's good for humanity and that
which is detrimental to the human race over all when it comes to
developing your own personal faith system away from structured dogma.
The
term “cherry picking” can be applied to the devout individual
using certain passages out of context to put down anther’s faith
system as well as a person caring out this same activity to justify a
particular lifestyle that a given person wishes to live.
Cited,
the Germans considered themselves Catholics yet, persecuted the Jews
through their interpretation of certain Biblical passages in regards
to the Cain and Abel event. We can also cite similar mistranslations
concerning the belief systems of the K.K.K. and the Skin head
movements as both thought they were carrying out God's will, or work
via the murder and persecution of people of a different race but
similar in belief system. Is this not 'Cherry Picking' through the
Bible?
Personal
faith is defined by one's positive relationship to ones self, to
others and to a Spiritual kingdom taken in faith be it named of God
or Spirit regarding how a person lives their life, the quality of
their life and what might occur to their eternal soul after death
pertaining to the way they have lived their life.
In
order to develop personal truths in life, a person must establish
what is true and good for others and self, we do this through trial,
error and experience and by learning from our mistakes. Further, that
same person must establish what is real of Divinity and what isn't
through spiritual growth in wisdom and knowledge of all spiritual
ideologies.
To
take what is good and the serves all in humanity and to disregard
that winch seems harsh, illogical, rash, harmful or narrow in reason
and scope pertaining to the good and proper welfare of others and
environment.
Really,
the full purpose to spirituality and faith in God / Divinity is to
become a benefit to all life and creation and thus, through this you
become in sync with the eternal God in which we all seek. Jesus said,
“I am the way, the truth and the life.” I believe this, as His
teachings are the keys to eternal life through established laws for
good and decent living and moreover, becoming a blessing and benefit
to all of creation that in turn places you in Their grace.
Another
way of putting this, acquiring spiritual faith moves past dogma of
structured religion eventually as the relationship between God /
Divinity and humanity has always been a journey that one must travel
solely past the basic spiritual training of primary ideology yielded
by whatever source.
Of
course, and past all of the Churches difficulties, I still deem the
church a service to the lessor evolved as I would in any peaceful
doctorate yet, all must remain sober and alert to the snares found on
every level of secular and religious life be it in or out of a
prescribed faith system such as Christianity, Islam, Buddhism,
Judaism, Hinduism or Paganism.
All
Righteous Paths
Eventually
Lead To Divinity
I
love anyone who sincerely loves Divinity, or anyone who seeks the
truth, and this includes the Atheist as all have a valuable
contribution to make to the world. All have something important to
say. The only living creatures that I loath is the liar and wicked
whom only seeks to destroy humanity in any way open to them.
The
ones who cares about themselves only and no other whom are reckless,
rebellious, arrogant and lawless against not only mans laws, but the
holy laws governing peace and order in the world. I think that we as
a race need to evolve past the out moded ways of our fathers while
moving forward to make a new world that's free of strife and trouble
for future generations, what about you?
Where
is it written that we all must think alike or worship God by the same
names? As long as we strive to become good people leading a
Godly life. Again, where is it written that we all must go to the
same church or subscribe to a common ideology or doctrine simply
because one believes it to be correct? Answer is, we don't.
I
think were all missing the point in that wisdom is wisdom no matter
the label you chose to call it by and thus, this is likened to the
Holy Spirit of Divinity and all the Prophets they have sent to teach
us through.
It
has always been humanity's arrogance to believe that the holy thrones
in Heaven would only send the One to save the world and not the many,
such it is this same arrogance and stupidity for the man whom
proclaims himself to be as a God upon the thrones of the earth.
It
is prideful and folly to condemn the one for the sins of the many,
and the many for the sins of ones self. It is purely evil to
persecute the just in Gods name and the false Prophet will wreak the
whirl winds of the grave.
To
throw passages, verse and scripture to oppress the soul is to violate
those same holy words spoken so long ago from those whom cared for us
so much that they themselves were destroyed by the wicked yet their
words live on.
It's
time that every field hand and King know the truth and to spread the
good news of life and creation least we all be consumed by the wrath
of the nameless On as has happened many times in eons past. Be you of
good cheer and may Divinity keep you in Their loving grace.
